Is this going to be a CSS image map? I ask because I use this flash example (http://www.counterspace.us/typography/ > anatomy> character structure) for my class, but it is a real pain in the butt to link to. It occurred to me that I am most likely not the only one needing a purely CSS demo of the anatomy of a letter, and thought it would be a good idea to build one. If you are doing it... let me know!
Looks really nice. One thing I would change is probably to have the terms in a sans-serif font instead of all caps serif as I think it'll make it a little simpler and less busy.

A work in progress for Ligature, Loop & Stem which will hopefully be done and dusted in time for Typecon.

Nice. The small break above the y's descender is the only thing that bothers me about this typeface.

Things I never thought I would typeset as part of a project: "crotch", otherwise known as that little spot in the "y" that Erik mentioned.

@Erik See, I’ve always liked that little “intersecting stroke divot” myself. Crotchety, or otherwise.

Grant: Yeah? For me I think it's because it looks like it's about to fall off. It bothered me most in Meta, all families.

@Samantha - It's actually going to be a letterpress print. It might also take on another form, but that's TBD for now.
A pure CSS thing would also be nice... Hmmm :)

@Samantha I’m with you. This could translate mighty nicely into a CSS demo and reference.
