Tweaking my about page with some sticker looking things which illustrate ideas from the text on that page. This is the only one I've done so far, but I will draw a couple other things in the same style.
Thanks Rogie and Gedy. I might make the other things pencil drawn on the paper texture and peeking out from behind the "sticker" so theres a hand drawn element to it (I drew this digitally on the tablet).
Very clean/sharp. I dig it. For ills, do you find yourself drawing directly on your Cintiq as a sketch tool, or do you still tend to draw on paper and then convert?
Nate, I drew it straight in, that's the beauty of the Cintiq vs an Intuos. I still like doing sketches with pencil and paper, but in this case I was just drawing from a photo anyway so it didn't need to be a long process.
Quite good. The glasses and tape are a great touch.
Drawing straight from your head to the computer isn't difficult with an Intuos. I do it with everything I work on. I've used one since I was a sophomore in high school before Cintiqs existed. The only barrier I had with it initially was that I had to teach myself to look at the computer screen rather than down at what I was working on. If I sketch on paper these days it's more along the lines of working out the composition rather than trying to literally flesh out what I'm trying to draw (or paint).
I love the illustration. The subdued color palette makes it feel really seamless, but the organic line quality maintains a sense of expression. Approachable and fun!
Thanks everyone :)
@Dustin true, I was *able* to draw things from my head straight on the Intuos. For me personally, sketching on paper was just faster and more natural as a first step when I wanted ideas to flow.
Is there a place that prints puffy stickers? designing a one color letterpress business card and putting different puffy stickers I've designed on each one would be a horrible idea that I'm tempted to try (okay doesn't have to be puffy).

Love this style. Not so sure about the whole sticker thing, but it looks bomb here.
PS. Dig the tape ;)

HAHA This is amazing...are you planing on actually printing stickers of the images? I think it would really cool if you did.
