The goal is to convey what my skills are by portraying actions/methods/steps in icons.
The first one (web) isn't so much about method but about results (a finished page/browser/whatever). I don't like having this one differing so much in terms of concept from the others, but I've tried other stuff and didn't like them either.
I really like the look'n feel but I think some aren't clear enough to convey the right message (ex : the last one makes me think more about the illuminati than the illustration )
Amazing sense of detail (my favourite is the one for Typography)
I'll second Aurélien on the "Illuminati icon"… :) Love the other ones even though they're not totally clear. Yet, if you put text under them, they become real obvious and easy to recall. I guess the main navigation should include the names and then subsequent usage can be "icon-only"…
The last one is more of a play than the actual method (even though the construction lines are there) — I hope it shows my personality and brings a sense of fun to the whole thing.
I always forget something on the first comment, but the idea is to have a fading tooltip with a brief explanation of each area when the icons are hovered.
