Thanks. It made the rounds about a year ago. We turned it into a working lockscreen (for jailbroken phones). The result was a little disappointing since we didn't do the build of it - lacked polish. Hoping to pick it back up later this year.

Looks good. Jailbreak your phone, there is an app that will let you do stuff like this to the lock screen.

Friend of mine is using it. I can see why you say it lacked polish. More in the interaction/functionality side then design. Looks great but he doesn't get much out of it. I think the main thing for him is that it allows you to interact with your text messages from the lock screen without unlocking the phone

Looks great and makes even more sense with the Retina Display. One thing I would change would be the wording for the calendar. Instead of "Today's Meetings" maybe either "Today's Events" or "Today's Calendar". Not all calendar items are meetings (hopefully). Great work.

If Apple added this it would probably make up for that dreaded "Death Grip" issue. Probably.

This reminds me a bit of Slidescreen for Android, but better organized. If you do continue with it, I'd be interested to see if I could help produce an Android version.

I recall seeing this a while back and loved it. The iPhone's home screen has always been a missed opportunity in my mind. This is a great solution.

Once @musclenerd and @iphone_dev release a jailbreak for the iPhone 4, you should pick this back up (Retina Display!!!). I tried Element when you released it but yeah, it was too slow. Lockinfo was way faster and more usable but looked so lame in comparison. Surely you don't need dependencies on Cydia lockscreen widgets in order to pull this off.
