Quoting Kelso

Quick design doodle.

I have only recently started using Sketch professionally, and while I'm all praises for the app when it comes to web designing, I wanted to see how much vector graphics one can do with it. Would it be enough to replace Adobe Illustrator? (which has been my bread and butter for most of my career.)

At the very least, this tells me that if needed, I ~could~ do some level of stylized text graphics with Sketch. But it took me maybe twice as long to make this than I would have in AI. (Do take into consideration that I'm relatively new with the app.)

I did a lot of workarounds in order to achieve simple effects (like the subtle gradient across all elements), and I definitely missed the more precise control I have on kerning and fine tuning vector paths when working with AI.

If you have any visual designer hacks for Sketch that you'd like to share, I would love to hear about them! :)
