   Maybe more on non-retina displays, the texture isn't too noticable as inspilab said.

   I think the numbers are gonna be way too small to be visible. Nice idea though.

   Great stuff. What I definitely find weird is to have those numbers to the upper left of the icons. I think we're all used to seeing them in the upper right corner.
