Mason, you're rocking it, dude. I think that the colors are a bit inconsistent in the tab bar, but I do like the fact that you're trying to branch out of the normal convention.
I think for me the distraction is the background. It seems super detailed, to a point that it's starting to create a sort of vibration.

Thanks for your perspective, Charles! When you see the background on the iPhone, it's really subtle. Things can sometimes look way over-the-top at 2x.
Yeah, I'm adding this pink/mauve color into the palette to give the icons some impact. It looks a bit steril with all tab bar icons having the same color.

Consistently a iPhone badass,
Just took a look at this on the iPhone and cropped it to Retina, the background looks great, very subtle detail once on the phone. Liking those buttons in the top right too.
I have one question - What's the ETA to download this thing?
