@Sam - Maybe if I should change font then. So that it has those curve like at the top of the K (don't know what those are called in font-world)?
@Ryan - Even if it will have something in the curve? If you look at this shot, I'm trying to replicate the bottom right logo. So the curve won't be "empty".
Yes, it may still look like a 'J' even when the little creature is popping out simply because of the long leg, but I'd have to see it in it's full glory to really see.
If you don't mind me asking, what's the concept behind the curve? Have you tried what it looks like without? Just curious.
@Ryan - The curve is just something I've always done when signing my name. I explain it a bit in my blog:
"I added the peek-a-boo character (that’s what I decided to call him) as I used to round up the ending of the “K” in a big loop and add 2 dots above, making it look like a smiley. So I expanded a bit on that and added a face, some fingers and “some” hair."

Worked on the K and the curve. I think it's better proportioned now.

agreed the curve looks a bit dangerous (like a sickle?) right now.

I have to admit, when I first saw this I thought it read 'KJ'. The long leg is throwing me off a bit.
