    Yes, they put out some wonderful typefaces. Yes, I've used them too. But we can all stand to see a little less Wisdom Script and Onramp flooding our Dribbble feed.

    Designers,

    You should be choosing typefaces based on the needs of the client, not what gets you the most "likes" on a Dribbble shot.

    Drawing lines in the sand like this only belittles the work of a designer. It suggests that the role of a designer is to "make things pretty" rather than to solve a problem and/or effectively communicate a message to an audience.

    Do what is best for your client/work. Period.
