I haven't dribbbled anything in a while, and I've felt really badly about it. I've been insanely busy and on things that I can't exactly put on here.
I'm nearly done, and I'm fairly happy with what I've done. The only complaint I have personally about it is that it looks too much like a Guy Harvey painting, but I guess if you're painting fish it's hard to avoid the guy.
A real painting class. Taking Painting with Professor Jones at Tech would have been your best start while you were there. I learned more from that man than I did any other teacher up there.
So, probably your best bet would be to find books on classical painting techniques... like what the old masters used. You then build your own up from that. It still applies when doing digital. Lastly you need a Wacom Tablet, and one that's suitable for your size.
