WordPress had TWO admin menus! Making the admin navigation better must happen.

It has come to my attention that the WordPress navigation system is broken. I believe this is due to WordPress becoming more extensible. We have more post types, plugin pages, and task for just about everything.
Can this be fixed? Can the WordPress admin become usable again? This is my question for today. Take a look at the issues.
Needless to say I'm working on a fix and wanted to share my first thought on Dribbble.
