I've been playing Battlefield since Battlefield 1942. It's one of my favorite first person shooters. Since the release of Battlefield 1, I've been really getting back into the series once it departed from the modern era. Now that Battlefield 1 has been out for some time now I am starting to imagine where else the series can go. Does anyone remember the Pirates Mod from Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2? It would be exciting to see a Battlefield series go in this direction! I really miss controlling large ships and getting into large naval battles.
