Very nice. However, I'm confused by the lines on the outer rim. To me that indicates some sort of turning aspect to the button (i.e. like a volume button).
Yeah...I know what you mean. I was messing with Photoshop actions to see if I could do some thing for my next project. It could be better, but it could be worse I guess! Thanks for comments...they all help.
Hi Shad - Yeah, you want to think about using vector shapes as they are easy to tweak. The marks around the edge were created using 1px lines and using different actions at 3, 6 and 15 degree angles....then just play with gradients, etc to get the look you want.
