Perhaps add some more space between the "Latest..." element and the article title?

Lovely, but something doesn't settle quite right with how yellow background box is crossing the 2 pieces of paper. It may, however, be a totally different story with a full view.

I'm with Milos. The orange was really bold and unique, something a grey banner just can't bring to this design. Besides, the rest of it is detailed and sophisticated, so I don't see how the orange bar detracts from that.

I dug the orange also. I'm not sure the grey makes it look more sophisticated. Either color works though.

Definitely liking this direction a lot more. What if you were to increase the drop shadow behind the last piece of paper to add a little depth? Also, looks like the the bottom piece of paper has a snippet missing in the top left =)

Much cleaner, and better integration on the map. Agreed with the first commenter that the orange was a good foil to the blue - but then, it's a combination I love, and my fiancé can't stand it because he thinks it's Gator colors ;-)
