Sometimes I stage cells from the completed sprites (like you might action figures on a physical desk) to keep my enthusiasm up when the scope of this project takes the wind out of my sails. (Like now when I've been turning over the same physics/collision detection problem for a couple days.)
Damn, I really wish I were willing to get an iPod Touch so I could play this when it's finished. Shaun, any chance of an Android port? I'd be willing to learn whatever I need to help make it happen. :)
Thanks everyone, the kind words and Likes go a long way towards lifting spirits too. Desktops are a great idea. I'm a bit worried about jumping the gun but if Nintendo Power and EGM could do it... Physical merchandise might be tricky attention-wise—at least until after the game is done :)
Like the others said, would love to see some sort of desktops for this, and I'd love to display at least just one over at Simple Desktops too. Fantastic work sir.

I can see this on my wall, HUGE. Also on my shirt...and perhaps on a few sets of underwear.

@Nathan, gotta have print on underwear. Ask my 3 year old. He flips em around to see the print. It's all about the graphic.

So, the list of non-existent merchandise is vast; stickers, t-shirts, posters, wall decals (that's mine).
I don't want to jinx the development of the game itself, but boy do I want this.
Merchandise can follow. :) (okay, a t-shirt would be awesome)

You are 'King of Chatt's Pixel Mountain'! :) Amazing how much detail you're able put into the 16 bit version.
