Jon, this is fantastic work! The "oOOoh!" bubble has so much character (hoewever, I might lose the border to keep it smooth). The bag already looks great and the background is awesome.
That wallpaper is gorgeous. And what Benjamin said about the actual bag itself is just what I would've said. The bottom could use some work, the rest of it is lovely.

Jon what's your secret to produce that nice stitching effect? I tend to use stroke dashes and just copy behind with a darker colour..
The metal bits could look a bit more shiny??? maybe?
