Assuming though that the site relates to Dublin specifically, I'm not sure if Lavanderia has the right character. It doesn't "feel" like Dublin to me.
Having said that, short of something chintzy like a uncial style font, I'm never quite sure myself what an authentic typographic touchpoint for "Irish-ness" is.
Thats whats great about typography. It can be used to change peoples conception of what looks like where. It doesnt have to look like a laundro-mat in SF for me to use the font!
You're absolutely right in saying that it doesnt feel like Dublin, but it does feel like a blog with good content about restaurant reviews I think.
