Like ducking for avoiding an obstacle? It would be cool if his head still stayed up, looking forward. Also, It may be neat-o to do a version of his legs spreading outward. But this may all be moot input if he is just ducking, just because he wants to and not because he is dodging stuff in a game.
This loop started as the pony going to sleep which is why she's putting her head down but it does make more sense to have her head up and alert. I plan on doing a "pony fall" animation so I'll try to work in the legs up in the air bit for that. ;)
Love your shots Will! These animations are ace. This one kind of reminds me those old wooden press base toys. Basically just animals that collapse... What could be more fun than that?
First, let me say, I'm a big fan of your pony animations. Now for some crit: it looks like the ground is being pulled out from under the pony. The hooves should stay more fixed, and the body weight of the pony should be shifted above them as the joints move.
A horse would go down by bending its back legs, moving its butt backwards and down, and then it would fold its front legs under itself to bring its front end down.

You seriously could make pony doing anything animations and I'm going to love them all.

Adding a trough is a great idea Timothy. I guess she could use more props in general (trough, fire hoop, tiny jockey, jet pack, etc).
Thanks Sue, glad you like them!
