This is for our contact page. Perhaps a little played out, but we still like the 'mail' metaphore and wanted to see what we could come up with.

Neat! But the texture makes it look more like fabric than paper. Maybe tone it down or remove it completely?

Very nice texture and stamps, but the borders are quite weird. Shouldn't they go around too? something like this

    Thanks guys!

@Sean, hmm yeah varies across monitors. From where I'm looking at it I don't think it's too much.

@Adam I searched a couple of examples, and I think the one we made is the most realistic looking one. If you think about it off-set printer wise this would make a lot more sense since a large piece of paper (which later on would be cut in the size of an envelope) would have the stripes across the complete sides instead of the lines being printed on the size of the envelope. Hope that makes sense haha ;). Also I think if you search google images on 'air mail envelope' you'll find the 'real' ones (photo's of envelopes) to have the stripes we've made. Almost all of the 'designed' ones have the ongoing/masked stripes.

I agree with Sean, it looks a bit to fabric for paper. Other then that: Ziet er goed uit! ;)
