I always enjoy working on traditionally more functional parts of user experiences -- forms, signups, checkouts, etc. They present such an opportunity really let the fundamentals of good design carry an experience. It forces the issue on great typography, clear calls-to-action, engaging photography, well-used white space. This was one of several modal windows set to trigger based on different user behavior.
