Is it a ligature when the letters aren't in sequential order?

Took me a second to read it.. maybe extend the top of the J so Jeff is easier to read? really nice either way!
This is gorgeous. My mind read it just fine. I'm wishing the name you tested with was David Browning ;).
Any way we can get that 'eff' a bit closer the the 'J'? Love the idea of the 'J/H' connect, but it's almost so seamless, that the read off 'Jeff' gets to be a little bit of a stretch...
Ah yes, good call michael. The problem is all that space to the left of the top of the e. I've seen the light!

This is amazing. I read it perfectly in the thumbnail version. Love the creativity of mixing the two first letters.
at first I read Eff Holt, the J+T looks like an H to me.
Maight work better moving the J a bit upwards
