Some menu of a current project. It will slide sideways like in facebook app. Iphone version is settled and will soon start the android one :)
big picture here
I really wanted to put more space and texture into this app, but due to the amount of info & controls needed, keeping it all clean became an evidence very soon :)

STOP BEING AWESOME!
lol Haziq, thx! :)
It's just I've been involved in a lot of projects lately and clients are giving me the honor to let me free in lot of Visual and UX choices & time, which is a good way of getting good looking designs :)
really like that part in fb app
Yes Sherhiy. I've been giving it a lot of thoughts to it, because another option was to take the whole width for the menu. But the fact of keeping a right part with main content make it very obvious for the user and there's more clickable space to come to main page.
Thx Kuldar ;)
NEED TO FIND SOME MORE WORDS TO APPRECIATE THE AWESOMENESS THAT'S SPARKLING OUT FROM THAT LITTLE SALLEE BRAIN :)
jajaja! Thx a lot Kartik!
Mate seriously i like your works, cause i am also a self-taught web designer, but still learning new things is an endless process and thats what keep me going with this designing virus :)
Hehe! I also think the learning process is endless! And it's always awesome to learn new things! Design goes so quick that you got to keep progressing!
Well done Jeremy!
It looks pretty awesome!
Only one note: I think every list item having a gradient is quite heavy to see. Maybe a more soft one would give a better result.
Actually this is a thought I've beed having and might follow you on that one!
Good job mate, looks neat as usual ;)
I think the Background should definitely be flat and use gradients only for selected list item and of course the "add" button. It's looking pretty sweet! I think we'll start seing this "Facebook" paradigm quite a lot from now on. I wonder if it was Mike Matas that came up with it?! Awesome Jeremy!
Thx for the feedback Ricardo! I'm definitelly going to change those gradients right now! :)
Nice work as usual, Jeremy!
Nice and accurate ... but too similar to Facebook app... may be instead of dark background need to try white/gray color scheme... in any case - good job!
Yes I completely agree with you Levgenii. I tried so many things to make it different from fb, but big contrasts works like a charm in closed canvas ui because the focus is easier to make, so using a light background for the menu didn't worked so much. As for the list itself also I tried to do boxes, but ended up like this to gain a maximum of space. I'll try to turn my head around to go a little out of that design and make it more "unique"
I think there's nothing wrong with going with re-using well established and functional solutions. I wouldn't make the background white (lighter) just for differentiation.
This looks amazing..!
