@indragie and I have started working on a new open source shortcut recorder for the Mac. This is the initial mockup, what do you guys think?

Love my shortcuts, so I love this.
Out of interest, what if the command gets longer than the space you've allocated? Will it expand?
@Russell not sure yet. I think it will start hiding keys and add an '…' at the end.
Very neat as usual, David. Looking forward to see how this project develops; I would definitely use an app like this!
Really cool, but maybe the "U" is a little bit low?
For me it's a bit strange that the record button doesn't have the same perspective as the commands... any reason for that? Besides that it looks awesome:)!
This looks beautiful!
Looks beautiful, but in my opinion the borders are a bit sharp/dark overall
Reminds me a lot of the CloudApp preferences. Have to agree with Peiter, seems strange not to have the record/lock switch in the same perspective as the keys.
@Pieter & @Chris Thanks for the feedback, I'll try adding some perspective to the switch. Not sure if the switch will even make it into the final version though. @Chris yep Cloud was the insperation for this.
I'm looking forward to this. Been waiting for a much nicer Shortcut recorder for the mac.
Oh dear, I love this. The buttons look so press-able.
Love this! super cool style!
Tell us when it's done!
