I *think* I know what's that for!
That's good news cause I guess it'll come back to life after a while of being dead?
I like it! :D
And maybe you could also add the little tea bag?
+1 for oVan's comment. Could use a little shine as most spoons I use are pretty shiny. Also, I'm not sure how you can accomplish it (perhaps more shadow towards the liquid), but it almost appears like a bowl, instead of a cup ;)
I agree with rogie- the problem is the length of the shadow on the bowl of the cup. The drop shadow effect you've use here only serves to flatten the illusion out... You might have to draw the shadow by hand, the cup would throw a much longer shadow.
You get a like from me though Tim
I'd like to see some bubbles or something on the top of the tea to add some texture. I don't know if it's just me, but the colour of the tea looks like it has milk in it, and I'm pretty sure you can't normally see the bottom of the cup.
Also agree with the comments on the shadow, you're using the same shadow on the cup as you are on the saucer which makes them look the same height.
Yeah, seems to be very flat, not much depth, as there should be. I would work on perhaps darkening the liquid, or providing a few inner shadow rings if it's supposed to be semi-transparent.
I love this, however I think the cup looks a little bit two dimensional. While I'm not sure how you'd go about it, i think some shadows or texture tapering into the bottom of the cup would add depth.

It just so happens that I can make a mean cup of Chai, so there's no way I can't endorse this one (you sealed the deal with Tungsten).

Very nice already! I would make the edge of the spoon thinner and add some gloss to it?

Spoon is too plastic. Yes.
Need more depth in coffee.
Plate pattern is too generic.
Push this thing Tim!

great colors in the coffee, but i think in the overal need some reflexions of light.

The texture on the saucer is a bit much I think. Ruins the overall cleanliness of it all as it makes it look old.
Now the big question. Drawing or CSS? :)

Awesome! I think the biscuit would be a nice addition. What's it for? ;)

Woowzer! Looks great.
Having the cup handle parallel to the spoon handle threw me a little at first, ie it didn't immediately register it was the handle.

I would add a non-semetrical swirl of creamer in the middle. You know, for character.

Love it! Great job, clean and smooth gradients. I love the type choice and the affects you have on it. Great all around.

When I think of tea, it's more translucent (with a bit of reflection in it), unless you add milk to it ;-)
