Here is a fun little project I wanted to tackle. I hate how tucked away all the settings are (like wifi, bluetooth, etc). Here is a simple site I made to make accessing those settings items a bit quicker.
I plan to add some more, but what do you think of the ones so far? I am still working on it, so some things may not work properly or be temporarily down.
ah this is a super awesome display of design and knowledge of developing web apps for the iPhone, so cool, sucks it take so long to go from web app to settings back to web app et cetera.
edit: there is also something like this, http://iphoneza.co.za/IconSettings/, which will allow you to create a web app icon to a a specific setting. Not as pretty though :p
I LOVE this Jeff! It's such a great idea and very well executed. However, I would suggest that you unlink the logo. While in app view, this link directs you out of the app view and into Safari. (Unless that's the intended function)
And...*blushing* I didn't realize you could link to iOS preferences from web. This is SICK.
@Jeff Broderick I meant that I can't use the Wifi shortcut to turn on my wifi because it needs a connection to the internet. Should have mentioned that this was on an iPod touch and not an iPhone >.

Try it out on your iPhone!
EDIT: By the way, I am pretty sure this only works in iOS 5. So if you don't have it, go update.

Nice work! Too bad the Wifi one won't work when your wifi is turned off, which sort of defeats the purpose.

Works for me. But you must have internet connectivity.

I love the idea behind this—particularly the wifi settings. Added the wifi to my homescreen. Thanks Jeff.

Works nice, but it could be cool if there were an icon for iTunes WiFi-sync. That would be very useful!

Genius. Saved to home screen.
But how come it needs to reload assets every time it's launched?

@Sean It is still a work in progress. I plan to work on caching issues last.

Nice, seems like more work than just opening settings, plus I hate having more icons, but still a nice fun project!

Such a great idea! Looking beautiful as always, but honestly that wooden texture is bit overused already. : )

Kinda like SBSettings for the un-jailbroken iOS, great idea! :) That app is one of the things Apple should've put in a long time ago!

Jeff, when you get to caching, feel free to ping me. It's super easy with a few gotchas.
