Looks really cool, although small nit-pick for me. It looks like the counter is going to turn to $013, which obviously isn't a valid number. Perhaps blur the numbers 1 & 2 instead of 1 & 0?

@Ryan I guess, but the 3 digits are going to be on display at all time, to cater for $XXX or $00X - It's not just an informational graphic, this thing (in another use & page) will actually display different prices.

Nice, I am pretty sure you can achieve this motion blur in HTML5 using Adobe Edge, an awesome piece of free software.
