   Thanks! @Kyle - I drew it on paper, inked the line with a brush marker, and scanned it in. After tidying up some of the lines in Photoshop, I brought it into Illustrator to create the vector.

   I have a Wacom Cintiq 12WX tablet. I should use it more often for things like this, but my instinct is to draw it on paper. I would get MUCH cleaner lines if I used the Cintiq more often.
