PEACE, LOVE, NEVER SHUT UP | Coming up with the message for the posters I submitted to @womensmarch was extremely difficult. Do we harken back to other protest movements or create something totally new? How do you communicate the power of resistance with an emphasis on non-violence? How do you make art that represents the diverse rainbow of women in this country without playing into typical associations with femininity, heteronormativity or color? How do you express patriotism while protesting what your country and its people have allowed?
