Sneak peek at the new menu popover in Beak for iPhone. No, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, this is the real-to-life resolution on the iPhone 4 :)

Hey Simon, yup, gotta be 2x the resolution if you want it to be sharp on the new iPhone 4 display. Takes a bit of time to get used to it in Photoshop :)

Can't you just increase the DPI of your Photoshop document instead of the actual size of the canvas?

2px is the new pixel. Looks great Mike :)

Chris, nope you gotta do it yourself, also since the resolution is doubled the various Layer Styles I'm using have to be tweaked/adjusted beyond just "doubling everything". Fortunately if you work in vector shapes already then half the battle is over.

Wouldn't it be nicer if the gradient white glow on the bubble didn't end with a straight line but a curved one ? Just asking.

Stéphane, yup, still tweaking that :)

The UI is really turning out to look fantastic. Can't imagine how great it'll look on the retina screen. No pressure but when are you shooting to release?

$1M!!!! Dude, I don't even have a 1,000 YEN!! I'm a designer and every client who comes to me wants to say their 14 year old nephew could help me accomplish the job. I quit this shit.

Jorge, hoping to finish coding this month. It's been a long time coming but it's got my full attention now. Of course "full attention" means "2-3 hours max per night after work" so it's a slow, slow process :)

This kicks more arse than Chuck Norris! Great job so far. 16 shades + blue is one of my fav color schemes.

This is awesome, love the glow, and the drop-down. And every single pixel on there. :)

Also, how many more revisions of the navigation bar are coming? ^_^

I dig the subtle transparency of the border/pointer. Good work. I look forward to more.
