Game 37 / Check out the whole project here

It’s okay. Yes we lost last night. Yes we ended a 16 game streak just short of the number 1 record. Yes we didn’t even get a puck in the net. But guess what, sometimes that happens. You move on, and guess what: we are only halfway through the season! That means we have an opportunity to start many more streaks and we learned a very important lesson. That the Columbus Blue Jackets aren’t a joke. It’s one thing to be lucky (or unlucky) for a few games. By showing our capabilities to win 16 in a row that proves consistency and skill. And that means way more than a single win or loss. So wipe away the tears and cover your wounds Columbus. We have 45 games to go.

Game Highlights:
-The Capitals shutout the CBJ out for only the second time this season.
-Tortz has not been in the locker room after a game once during the past 36 game. But after this one he went in and said he was proud of his team.
-After letting 5 past him, Bob was pulled for just the second time this season with Big Mac stepping in.
-The CBJ officially has the second longest winning streak in the NHL.
