    I'm crafting a slab-serif font for practice. This is the first slab font that I have worked on and it's quite invigorating I must say.

    The New York Typography Project is just sample text for purpose of testing letterforms. Any feedback is appreciated as always.

    Looking really smart.

    Have you tried having a straight cut atop the lower case 't'?

    So good to see a new shot from you! This looks stunning, I absolutely love the 'y'. I really like how you've incorporated the slab on the 'c' as well. (Oh and while this is obviously not the focal point of the shot, I also really like the dotted blue guides - they look a bit like those learn-to-write books for kids)

    This is so solid! Really love those brackets. Consistent overshoots, cohesive feels amongst all the letters, not one feels out of place. Love to see what you do with the caps.

    Thanks for the comments amigos - I always appreciate all the great feedback!

    @Simon, cheers man!
    @Alex, how'd I miss that? :P
    @Phil, I did have a horizontal cut on the 't' originally but the angled cut sits better optically with the large descenders. I'll keep it in mind though.
    @Claire, brings back memories of the good old days :) Thanks for the comment!
    @kirk, hah thanks man.
    @Seth, appreciate the comment!
    @Mike, "y" thank you :)
    @Sean, thanks for taking the time to comment - always appreciate you stopping by!
    @Rudy/Jake - I'll keep working on it!
