Wade Watts - Ready Player One

Hello, Dribbble! Excited to join this awesome community! Thanks so much to @Bob Schuster and the team at @Brevity for inviting me! I couldn’t ask for a better bunch of people to help me grow as a designer and illustrator.

This is the first illustration in a series based on Ernest Cline’s novel “Ready Player One”. Here’s my interpretation of the main character, Wade Watts. I’ll be posting a new character each month, in collaboration with @Bob Schuster who will be creating awesome branding concepts from the same novel!

I chose to focus on the human characters (not their avatars) for this fun little side project. All of them will have an 80s vibe to match the pop-culture fandom in the book. Feedback always welcome / encouraged.
