The Backstory
The Zeus statue is the symbol of obsolete organized religion. The chopped up router, when juxtaposed with Zeus symbolizes our worship of technology. Also obsolete. And a modern day 'idol'. The other side is the ohm symbol - meditation and enlightenment. The flower in hand is serenity materialized in the physical form. The ladder in the middle represents each of us working to climb higher. It's in the center of the piece because it acts as a divider between two sides of the decisions we make. The golden branches are connectors. They're our friends, family and those who truly guide us through life.
