This is the logo set in the header. Whilst I'm not a huge fan of the torn paper concept (not that it doesn't have its place) it was part of the brief to maintain some themes from the old site within the redesign. Let's call it a compromise. That's before I even start on about the company typeface and the logo graphic.... tough.
i'm not a big fan of torn paper (i find it's kind of an easy go-to texture piece) but this i don't mind. reminds me of butcher paper which makes me automatically think of meat. the logo doesn't make sense to me, although i understand that's not your decision. love the spicy paprika color!

Thanks for the positive (and constructive) feedback Lisa. Very much my thoughts on it too. Having to work within a lot of restrictive elements.
