Chat App Concept

Here's some screens from a chat app that I worked on a while back. Use hashtags in your messages and then the algorithm will display the most popular to least popular based on how often the hashtag is used. You swipe left/right to see the the different hashtags/topics. The experiment was to see if people enjoyed this style of communication. Would making your own trending topics within small groups and communities be cool?
