Client site received 50% mobile traffic so we're implementing a mobile optimised experience. We chose to design a standalone site because we felt RWD options for the site's content (data tables) weren't ideal.
We're also exploring whether, for a mobile-only design (non-RWD), producing wireframes or a working prototype is the most effective process with respect to signoff, device testing and time.
The data is place holder - definitely something easier to tweak with code. Advertising is a necessary evil for the client.
Exploring how to adapt the visual styles of the full/desktop site to the mobile-optimised version with consideration for interaction and small-screen legibility.
Pro-tip: test mobile designs on real devices - I've already noted several elements that need larger touch targets.
