TravelBird - Product Jobs Icon

Before I joined TravelBird, there was no Design or Product team. Design job positions were posted under 'Marketing', which didn't seem right or reflect what designers actually do.

After we set up the right team structure and names, we needed an icon for Product to post design and product jobs in the right category.

Being a lover of icons and illustrations, I volunteered for the project. After brainstorming ideas with the Design Team Lead, we decided on a lightbulb to represent product. I also explored different colour options to add to the existing rainbow colour palette, and decided on dark blue.

Rather than posting the icon only, I love to show my designs in context. Special thanks to @Ammar Çeker who gave me some tips on icon design. :)
