A quick iteration and some quick experimental typography of a new logo design project I recently started.
Still needs some curve & space adjustments - especially the beak - and maybe a bit more solid overall, as well as deciding on the main layout of the logo.
Though I'm aware these things seem to happen more often lately. Probably to cut their costs and maximize their creative profits. But as recent researches revealed - and what we already knew for a long time - the best results come from a mutual trusted relationship between client and designer!
Usually I don't even touch my pencil before I got my signed contract agreement back from a client. Ironically in this case - and totally against my own policy - I decided to start this project without any formal agreement, because. I felt like this particular client seems to be very seriousl about their revitalised business identity.
But who doesn't want to create a cute little catfish logo after all ;)
Anyways, I hope it turned out just fine for those who worked on this project previously.

Love the fish and the presentation (circles) really bring it out.

Now it's more clear why they asked me not to post it online, anywhere.

I usually never agree with such requests, unless the project runs under NDA.
