You simply cannot be human.

so much texture, i am overwhelmed.
@Zack Ha! Well I guess with Illustrator, it does remove the human touch. I can't imagine how Sanborn did all this stuff by hand 100 years ago. Mind boggling.
THis is sooooo bad ass!!! !
Just spent a good 5 minutes just staring at your attachment.. wow.
This is the first thing in a very long time that dropped my jaw on sight. Wow
@Drew I did the same thing with your work yesterday. I particularly love that method where you use lines of dots for type highlights. Such a great idea.
Holy moly! This is incredible. Stunning! Great job.

Great job Ben! The live podcast is equally dope, http://pxfx.co/8q
you're a bad-ass, dude.
Ben, you're definitely not a human, I'm absolutely agree with Zack. That's marvelous, incredible....I'm speechless!
slayed it, sir.
Killing it with these, Ben.
these are all so sick! solid detail, solid execution, just damn solid design, sir.
My hat is off my head, good sir!
is this real or did I die and go to design heaven?
Unreal. Completely blown away.
Really nice, consistent vibe.
Just incredible Ben
Thanks for all the comments!
@Tim That's actually a different podcast believe it or not (also Tegan and Sara, also recorded in Calgary) -- this one is here:
Wow YOU did these...well I'm honored that you offered your thoughts to my work - I definitely love this series and put some of these in my inspiration folder for the Mon Julien art.
i love it! i've been exploring this kind of design myself and yeah Ben, i agree, Sanborn was out of control !
