Red-Breasted Nuthatch

After a couple months with my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, I’ve started on a series of birds. Initially they were more playful — for a kids book idea — but I’ve veered into more accurate renditions. So now I'm exploring coloring and fill methods. This is my colored pencil approach, with an ink outline. Oh, and red-breasted nuthatches are really friendly and curious – my yard is full of them.
