    Final logo and colour palette for Hund von Eden, an upcoming dog training & care facility in an old 18th century farmhouse. The client was looking for a custom calligraphic script with an exclusive, contemporary and casual fee that also has something playful about it.

    Color palette is sublime. The subtle contrast in the stroke is so great. I don't think I would've been brave enough to connect that "von' to the 'E' but you did it perfectly!

    edit: Love this overall presentation too btw. So clean!

    Thanks very much Neil!

    Sean - Ha, I have to admit I toiled over that bit, but decided to go with it in the end. Thanks a lot for the kind words!

    Nice work, I especially like the terminals, the way you finish the letters is beautiful. I'm also impressed by the consistency of the lowercases proportions. It gives a nice structure that the H and E liveliness brings to life.

    Taylor - Thank you very much! That's really nice of you to say.

    Hubert - Thanks a lot for your thoughtful observations. Getting the proportions of the lowercase was a little tricky here as I wanted some natural variations but without it looking messy as the baseline angles vary. Thanks again!

    The colour palette is fantastic and the B&W version is just as bold and strong. And the tails on 'd' and 'n' actually reminds me of a dog wagging its tail! Another beautiful piece of work.

    Overall it's nice but a few things bug me about it.
    1- The cap E... looks a bit forced.
    2- The n on Eden is different to the other two n's.
    3- Von does not share the same baseline angle.

    Awesome outcome! Love the 'von' part especially. Only feedback I could give is to maybe center 'Hund' a bit above 'von Eden', by nudging it to the left a bit, for some more balance?

    @Norman - Of course, the dog wagging its tail was intentional.. :D Thanks for the kind words!
    @kirk - Thanks very much, appreciate your feedback.
    @Ali - Thank you!
    @Ivan - Thanks a lot, much appreciated.
    @Artistdanz - Thanks a lot for your feedback. The 'E' was pretty much exactly based on the natural flow of the brush and the variation on 'n' allows the exit stroke of the final one to mirror the one in 'd'. Re the baseline, I hesitated at first but when on the same angle, it left an awkward gap under the 'H'. Cheers for the comment!
    @Michael - Thank you! Thought you might appreciate the ligature :D
    @Joe - Thanks so much, too nice of you as always! The subject was perfect for muted earthy colours, so can't go wrong there. Cheers!
    @Florin - Happy to hear it, thanks very much.

    @Máximo - Thanks a lot for your feedback, appreciate it!
    @Sergey - Cheers as always for the kind words, it means a lot. Hope all is well with you and you're not working till 5 am all the time!
    @Milosz - I always love hearing what you think, thank you!
    @Auré - Thanks a lot, it's great to see you!
    @Yassine - Thanks for the kind words and suggestion! Logo is finalized now, but I see what you mean about positioning. The idea is that being a preposition, 'von' isn't contextually as important as the other two, hence the slight focus on the capitalized words.
