These are some sketches from an illustration project I'm working on. I've been playing around with character-forms and symbols - my general concept is to create some examples of future typographical symbols and characters. We'll see where this goes.

Thanks, Brian :) I was thinking about that too. In this case, I was more inspired by ampersands than trying to recreate them - they're definitely on the more abstracted side.
