Game 15 / Check out the whole project here

Let's face it (pun intended) there is only one story about last night's game: Matt Calvert taking a puck to the forehead during the second period, sopping blood all over the ice, getting 36 stitches, and returning in the third period to score the game winning goal (on a Ranger Power Play none the less). It couldn't have been written any better. Now let's rewind. Other then Karlsson scoring in the 16th minute, the first period was a bit of a snooze with only 6 total shots on goal and a lot of board play. During the second it started to pick up and after the Jackets extended their lead of 2-0 Nationwide was feeling it. But with only 12 minutes left in the last period NY had found a way to tie it up. That's when Matty returned to the game in a blaze of gauze and put the puck in the net. Jenner scored for the second time of the night on an empty-netter at 19:59.

Game Highlights:
-re-emphasize that Matt Calvert is a beast
-The first 3 goals of the game were unassisted
-This became the 7th win in a row at Nationwide Arena
-At the beginning of the game NY was ranked first on goals per game, with the Jackets coming in second
-Seth Jones was skating the morning by himself, but is expected to be on IR for the next 2 weeks still
