Hey Will - I'm all for ribbonly designs, but this is definitely a little too similar to my work for Dashing dish.. the scallops, the ribbon, the separators, the tucking underneath the logo..

Yikes. Even that background is basically a simple pattern swap.

It does look slightly similar - but the scallops are some what different and the ribbon is not exactly the same and like you said, both of these elements I've seen used in many ways - maybe not in the same combination - but still. I'de say Will is save here.

Hi Sean, I'm sorry if you think this is too close to your design. It honestly wasn't my intention when I started working on it.

The paper & ribbon effect was something I wanted to create before starting on the project, & it was something I searched dribbble for to get ideas. As you can see from my recent likes, I also drew inspiration from Dave Ruiz's work - http://dribbble.com/willbarron/shots/likes.

However, looking back at both designs I can see the similarities & perhaps the design is too close. Especially how the ribbon ties into the logo area. I'm happy to take it down & redesign the logo & ribbon area if you wish.

Keep it, it's different enough with scheme and layout and products - logo analness sometimes carries over into this, no worries.

Thanks Sean, I totally understand you raising the issue. I think I'll play around with the logo area a little anyway. Cheers
