Game 13 / Check out the whole project here

CBJ are making a good habit of scoring the first goal of the game quickly. Ganger put it in the net 2:34 after the puck was dropped last night at Nationwide. And when The Blues tied it later in the period, Foligno responded with a goal of his own within 8 seconds. Fast forward 27 minutes and the cannon continued to fire 5 consecutive times. It was starting to look like another Montreal game, but with one big difference: we were getting lucky. Instead of taking calculated shots, thought out passes and setting up simple but impactful plays, we were throwing the puck at the goal and it happened to go in. 4 of the final 8 CBJ goals were scored from deflections off Blues players. Let's keep the cannons going, but maybe they are a touch more planned than lucky.

Game Highlights:
-All 4 of the Blues goals were scored during Power Plays
-Entering the game, the Blues and Jackets were tied as the top penalty killing teams in the NHL. After 60 mins CBJ is now 11th.
-Nutivaara scored his first career goal
-Dubs was back in the lineup after a lower back injury and scored in the second period
-This game was on Nationwide Areana's Hockey Fights Cancer Night, so everything was purple, including the players' stick tape. If you're interested you can Donate Here
