Mustafa Kemal Atatürk

Modern Turkey’s founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk passed away on November 10, 1938. He is the person that I know better than anyone else. He is the pure definition of leadership. Even after 78 years, sirens throughout Turkey will start sounding exactly at 9:05 a.m. and continue sounding for two minutes. Flags will be lowered to half-mast and a nation of 75 million people will stop and stand in solidarity, showing their respect.

This is how I interpret my love and respect to Atatürk, with a silhouette of his final resting place, Anıtkabir and a representation of 1938 to infinity.
