It's a light sculpture of sorts. Large black (like 30 feet tall/10 feet wide) background and a whipping fiber with pulses of light being sent through it.
Persistence of vision makes it so that you can see words projected in it, etc.
This was a 1 second exposure, hand-held. I did others of 3 seconds, 1/4 second, 1/10th of a second. All produced pretty cool results. This was the most colorful though.
