I chose the hot air balloon as a symbol for potential, dreams and aspirations as well as being a common sight around Bath. TEDxYouth events give kids a perspective on life from an angle they can't yet see, so I like to think the balloon is full of the speakers ideas and advice that elevates them and allows them to see how much possibility there is in the world.
