This is a new project I'm working on for 38Media. It will be a complete admin panel to manage a lot of different stuff. I cannot say more for now, but I believe it will be very useful!
Agree with @Lukas here. Left aligned overview values would be a good practice. Have you tried a smaller font-size on the "85%?"
Oh, love the detail where the two blue tabs come together and create the folded effect. EYE CANDY! ;)
I first tried left aligned but then right aligned, and personally I prefer the second way. But maybe that's just me. I keep your idea in mind. Thanks a lot guys!
I agree with @Paz about changing the font on the "Detailed Statistics" button.
Unlike @Simon, I think the folder effect looks great, but the very top of the shadow (to the left of it), should be slightly wider and softer, to show that it wraps around? IMO.
I'm also not a fan of the Impact typeface for the numbers. Something about the size of the email notification badge is a bit too big for me as well... seems overpowering.
The fold is nice, I like the effect, but not sure it's necessary. If the fold is real (which I'm not sure how it would be), then the tabs behind are just awkward...
@Anthony, I'm not sure to understand why the fold makes the tabs behind awkward, but I think the effect needs some work. Maybe by making the left corner of the blue tab more rounded, giving a kind of perspective.
Ok for the types advice, I'll work on that. Thanks mate!
@Jonathan it looks awkward to me because if that tab above the "dashboard" is folded back, then it would affect the gray tabs as well. I don't know how else to describe it, maybe I am alone in this thought process...
without a full preview it is hard to provide a ton of quality feedback, but the hierarchy to me seems awkward. the sidebar where the user picture seems like a "tab", but can you click on that and see something more?
@matt, I understand your point. Because of a NDA, I'm not able to show a full preview for the moment. To explain a little bit the idea, the left blue tab where's the user picture, contains two buttons: the profil button + the messages button. It's the only things of this tab that are interactive. This left part of the dashboard is a global overview of the user's account informations (progress, numbers, ...). Then the right part is for the content itselfs of the dashboard depending on which page the user is. The user can collapse that left part (the sidebar) by simply clicking on the double arrows. So the content can take the whole page width.

You can check out the attached file to see the whole sidebar.
It's a WIP so don't hesitate to share your thoughts!
Thanks!!

Very clean, looks very good! But I would love to see the overview values left aligned.

Yes I understand what you're saying. I've just added a whole preview of the sidebar to see how the values are aligned.

@Simon it's a little light to make a folded effect, why?

Looks awesome, I changed the font in the "Detailed Statistics" from Impact to something more readable :)

@Jonathan: I understand intention but I would work more on this and to be honest I would get rid of that ;)

I think the folded effect is sexy and I would leave it. Really makes this UI a bit more unique.

Thanks Adam, I also think it gives this something extra. Without the panel seems a little too flat and boring IMO.
Again much thanks for all your feedback! :)

I agree with @Simon, I don't think the folded effect works that well, because the it looks like it should affect the buttons too.

Wow.
Agreed about the folded back tab, but besides that, wow is all I have to say.

Feels like what direction Windows should have gone in. Rather than follow and ultimately chase Apple, they should have looked in another direction.
Not sure if that is a compliment or not, but I like what you've done here. Very nice.

I didnt read all of the comments (short of time), but FYI I love the fact that u add lightning like that (The folded effect).
The fact that you add that is (one of the things) what makes your designs so personal and awesome.
