Yes, that is the whole idea behind it, luxury and elegant display typeface. I am working with both of these at the same time. Next step will probably the serif.
I am also preparing a bunch of alternates and ligature for these.
These subtle contrast variations are giving me headaches sometimes. :D Especially when I see the next day obvious mistakes that were for hours in front of me.

Ongoing typeface project for my MA studies in Nikola Djurek's class. Wide sans with low and medium contrast variations.
And yes, I already have a name for it.

Beautiful. Both variations are really nice; the top one has such an elegant feel to it.

Sounds excellent (not to mention a lot of work!) Really looking forward to following the progression.

Top version is really delicate and refined, but the bottom is a great candidate for a daily design workhorse. Thanks for sharing, do post more :)

Working mainly in Illustrator? I'd love to read about your process or see in-progress shots.

First hand drawn, sketching etc. Then scanning the sketches and illustrator. Then Fontlab, or I'll maybe try the new Robofont that I hear is great.
